The principle of vehicle-mounted self-propelled drilling rigs and workover rigs is: that the mechanical transmission system drives the turntable to rotate and drill, and the drum winch is used to lift the drilling tools. During the drilling construction, the well washing and cementing operations are completed by the solid pressure equipment.

However, this type of equipment has the disadvantages of single function, complex operation, high labor intensity, low efficiency, and difficulty in changing the drilling process.
